Here are a few poetry collections I love and recommend - it’s worth noting that all links here are affiliate links so if you buy anything via them, it helps support me and my work.
anthologies
In no particular order… other than how they’re arranged on my bookshelf. Names in brackets are often the editors / curators of these collections.
Anthologies are a great place to start if you want to get into poetry or find new poets - some will be organised chronologically over a certain time period, or they might contains a selection of poetry written by poets from a certain background / culture, or they might all be centred around a theme.

Please note: These aren’t the only poets I recommend but these are the collections from just one poet which I’ve enjoyed. There are plenty of other wonderful poets whose work I love and thoroughly recommend but I’ve only read their work in other anthologies so please check out the anthology section for an even wider range of poets.
