Catching A Feather

This cute little guy was someone I photographed in the Nature Reserve at the Top of the Rock in Gibraltar which really is one of the most beautiful, magical places I've ever been. Hundreds of macaques just roaming around, free, exploring, playing, looking adorable.
Me and Kieran made the silly mistake of hiking around the reserve on the hottest day of the week and completely under-estimated how much water we'd need in the ridiculously hot direct sunlight. So after we'd hiked the Mediterranean Steps we were EXHAUSTED and desperate to get to St Michael's Cave to have a decent meal and plenty of water to drink but right outside we were greeted by this cheeky little man and his family. And it was exactly what we needed.
We were hot and sweaty and thirsty and tired and these little monkeys were all just running around, playing with each other, having a great time, and it made us smile SO MUCH. This little guy in particular - he caught a feather out of the air and was just fascinated by it. It was the cutest thing!
