Gibraltar Flowers
I shot these beautiful flowers in the Alameda Botanic Gardens in Gibraltar just days before my 30th birthday. It was our first day in the country and we were absolutely exhausted - Kieran and I had been at the airport from midnight the day before, hadn't had any sleep that night, and only managed a 2 hour nap in the hotel before we were starving and just had to head out for food. We stuffed ourselves with the most amazing pasta and went for a little walk around the south of the country, on our way back we stopped to watch a man feeding maybe 30 chickens and roosters, then passed through the gardens where I took this and many other photos! The colours of this photo just make me feel warm and happy and I love it so much, I’m getting a large print of this for over my desk at home too!
